Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Services
-
We work with ambitious businesses that are growing, changing, or preparing for investment or exit. This includes regulated firms, founder-led businesses, professional services companies, and businesses scaling rapidly. Clients often come to us when internal systems are under pressure or when leadership needs clarity and structure to move forward confidently.
-
No. While we have extensive experience in regulated environments, particularly under FCA oversight, we also work with non-regulated firms that have complex operational, governance, or compliance requirements. This includes businesses working with ISO frameworks, data security obligations, or internal policy controls.
-
We have deep experience in financial services, particularly IFA, wealth management, and advisory firms. We also work across professional services, technology, and founder-led businesses that need structure, control, or compliance alignment to grow.
-
Our work spans strategy, operations, compliance, and leadership. That may include operational reviews, compliance audits, governance structure, team design, due diligence preparation, or executive coaching. Every engagement is tailored, and we are happy to work in a hands-on, embedded capacity or as a strategic sounding board.
-
A fractional COO is a part-time or project-based operational leader who brings senior-level oversight and structure without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire. We offer fractional COO services to businesses that need operational clarity, strategic execution, or internal discipline but aren't ready to make a permanent executive appointment.
-
Yes. We can provide interim operational leadership, compliance delivery support, or project-specific guidance - including readiness for investment, due diligence preparation, or internal restructuring. We also offer short-term strategic support during transitions or founder succession.
Leadership and Coaching Support
-
Yes. We provide structured leadership support to founders, senior leaders, and boards. This includes decision-making support, leadership development, executive coaching, and sounding-board sessions. We also have experience supporting neurodiverse leaders, including those with ADHD, who benefit from structured thinking, prioritisation support, and clarity under pressure.
-
Yes. We frequently work alongside internal leaders, project teams, and other external advisors. We aim to complement existing resource and often help translate strategic direction into operational execution or compliance delivery.
-
Yes - as long as there’s a clear need and commitment to improving how things run. We work with some founders early in their journey, particularly when they’re growing quickly, facing decisions that need structure and challenge, or need help establishing their proposition or procedures. If you’re ready to invest in support, even in the early months, we’re open to a conversation.
Working Together
-
Pricing depends on the nature and scope of support. Some clients engage us on a retained basis (such as fractional COO or ongoing advisory), while others bring us in for a defined project or intervention. Where appropriate, day rates are available for short-term or ad hoc work. We’ll always provide a clear, upfront proposal following an initial conversation - no hidden costs or guesswork.
-
Most of our work is delivered remotely, with regular virtual check-ins and full access to support. Where appropriate, we can join onsite for key workshops, leadership sessions, or reviews. We're based in the UK and work with clients across the country and internationally.
-
A discovery call is a no-obligation conversation where we explore your business, your goals, and the challenges you're facing. You’ll leave the call with insight and next steps, even if we decide not to work together. Calls are typically 30 minutes and can be booked online.
-
The easiest way is to book a discovery call through the website. We’ll talk about where you are now, what you want to achieve, and whether we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll recommend the right next step based on what you need.
